We have resident badgers, lots of rabbits, Grouse, Pheasant, wild Ducks and Cranes and of course my favourite residents Mr & Mrs Darcey the Canadian Geese who return every year to raise their young which is amazing watching them teach their young to swim, feed and eventually fly. We have an amazing amount of wild birds that visit us especially attracted to the lake area, cameras at the ready!!

The protection of the wildlife including the fish at Elton Barn and their natural habitat is the most important aspect of Elton Barn as without the wildlife, Elton Barn would not be as beautiful as it is, With this in mind everything we do is in their interest.
